Job Description
Job Role: Lead Analyst
Job Location: Bangalore
Experience: 7+ yrs
Mandatory skills: SQL (Data Modelling + ETL Development + Cloud Platforms)
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SQL (Data Modelling) + ETL Developer with Cloud experience to join our Reporting COE team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SQL database development, ETL processes, and cloud platforms, enabling scalable and efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modelling
- Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, procedures, views, functions, indexing).
- Hands-on experience in data modelling using tools like ER/Studio, ERWin, SQL Server Management Studio, Lucidchart, etc.
- Solid understanding of database normalization, relational modelling, and schema design principles.
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing database performance.
- Familiarity with star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modelling principles.
ETL Development
- Design, implement, and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move and transform data from various source systems into target data warehouses or databases.
- Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure smooth and accurate data integration.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration of systems.
Cloud Data Engineering
- Design and implement data solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Develop and manage data pipelines using cloud-native tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.).
- Work with cloud storage solutions like Data Lakes, Blob Storage, or S3.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based data solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Data Modelling: 8+ years of experience in creating Dimensional Modeling, Data Base Normalization and writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
- ETL Tools: 8+ years of Strong experience with ETL tools (such as SSIS or ADF) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Cloud Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), including: Data pipeline development, Data lake and warehouse concepts , Cloud-based ETL tools.
