Business Development Research Associate in Bangalore (Hybrid)

We are hiring a business development research associate to drive the intelligence backbone of ATG's growing sales and partnerships function. The selected candidate will work closely with senior leadership and business development teams, delivering actionable market insights, account intelligence, and strategic research that directly support pipeline growth and deal execution.

This role suits professionals who are intellectually curious, structured in their thinking, and motivated by seeing their research translate into tangible business outcomes across SaaS, AI, HRTech, EdTech, and technology consulting. Strong performers will be entrusted with ownership of high-priority research mandates, strategic account planning support, and cross-functional business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Research target companies, industries, and key decision-makers to support focused sales outreach
• Prepare detailed corporate profiles, account intelligence summaries, and pre-meeting preparation briefs
• Build and maintain a well-structured, organized prospect and active client database
• Support the sales team with professional proposal drafting, follow-up coordination, and deal documentation
• Analyze market and account-level data and present findings in clear, structured visual formats
• Track competitor activity and deliver regular, timely competitive updates to the sales team
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of all client commitments
• Develop sales enablement assets including FAQ documents, objection-handling scripts, and case studies
• Monitor industry developments, emerging trends, and flag relevant new opportunities to leadership
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all research outputs and sales support activities
