Job Summary
The International Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing overseas markets for the company’s power generator products and related equipment. The role focuses on expanding export sales, building relationships with international distributors and clients, handling import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new international markets for diesel generators, generator spare parts, and related power solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas distributors, dealers, contractors, and project clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential importers, resellers, and project opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle including inquiry handling, quotation preparation, negotiation, and closing sales.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for international shipments, documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Handle export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements of target markets.
- Attend international trade exhibitions, industry events, and business meetings to promote company products.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and pricing strategies in the global generator market.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market development plans for management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of international sales experience, preferably in the generator, power equipment, or heavy equipment industry.
- Proven experience handling import/export transactions and international clients.
- Strong knowledge of diesel generators, power systems, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally for business development and client meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
