Lecturers at Murdoch University Dubai are responsible for delivering high-quality education to a diverse cohort of students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
The Adjunct Lecturer-ICT396: Games User Experience and User Interface Design will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions to undergraduate and diploma students.
The successful candidate will facilitate student learning through practical, industry-relevant teaching approaches that integrate user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and human-computer interaction (HCI) principles.
Key responsibilities include preparing and delivering teaching materials, assessing and marking assignments and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback, and supporting students throughout their academic journey.
The lecturer will contribute to developing students knowledge and practical skills in interface design, usability evaluation, accessibility, ethical design, and user-centred development practices, while fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and professional growth.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Game Design, or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated experience teaching one or more of the following subjects at undergraduate or postgraduate level:
Understanding of human psychology and physiology as they relate to human-machine interaction is highly desirable.
