Job Title: Pre-Sales Consultant / Pre-Sales Engineer
Role Overview
The Pre-Sales professional works closely with sales, product, and technical teams to understand customer needs, design suitable solutions, and support the sales process through technical expertise and solution presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and business challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and solution walkthroughs
- Prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and technical documentation
- Design and recommend solutions aligned with customer needs and company offerings
- Act as the technical subject matter expert during sales discussions
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and delivery teams for solution feasibility
- Perform proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot implementations when required
- Address technical objections and support deal closure
- Stay updated on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- X+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies/products (SaaS, Cloud, ERP, AI, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Experience handling enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
