We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Automobile Service Advisor to join our after-sales service team. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between customers and workshop technicians, ensuring smooth communication, accurate diagnosis, timely service delivery, and high customer satisfaction. |
Key Responsibilities
- | Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements. | Perform initial vehicle inspection (walk-around check) and identify visible issues. | Create detailed job cards with accurate complaint descriptions. | Explain repair work, service schedules, cost estimates, and delivery timelines to customers. | Provide transparent and regular updates to customers on vehicle status. | Coordinate with workshop technicians for diagnosis, repairs, and technical clarification. | Ensure correct allocation of jobs to technicians based on skill and workload. | Recommend additional maintenance, repairs, and value-added services (upselling). | Prepare and explain final invoices and ensure customer approval before work begins. | Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. | Ensure timely delivery of vehicles after service completion. | Conduct final quality check before vehicle handover. | Maintain service records, job cards, and update CRM/system accurately. | Follow company service standards, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines. | Achieve workshop KPIs such as customer satisfaction (CSI), upselling targets, and turnaround time (TAT). |

Requirements
- | Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field (preferred). | Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service industry is an advantage. | Strong communication and customer handling skills. | Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical). | Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment. | Computer literacy and CRM/workshop management software knowledge.
