English Teacher for Primary Years Program

Job Background

Teach English language to primary students under the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP).

Roles and Responsibilities

Create appropriate and challenging learning engagements for primary students.

Motivate students using varied instructional styles and differentiated instruction.

Collaborate with fellow teachers to support student success.

Monitor and assess student performance to improve understanding and skill mastery.

Maintain regular and constructive communication with students and parents.

Use effective teaching methods to engage students and stimulate intellectual curiosity.

Set high expectations for student behavior and maintain behavior management through positive relationships.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

University degree in English Language or related field.

Fluency in English is mandatory; PYP experience is preferred.

Computer skills to creatively integrate technology in the classroom.
