Duties

• Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Sanitate tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with clients at the front desk, scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Upsell hair care products and services to enhance the overall client experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide professional recommendations.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure a pleasant environment for both clients and staff.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong retail sales abilities, particularly in upselling products related to hair care.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness according to industry standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey ideas clearly to clients.
• Previous front desk experience is a plus but not required.
• Must hold a valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
