Therapy Assistant (Podiatry- DFS)*

You will be responsible for the following:screen for risk factors in the diabetic foot and determine the corresponding risk levelrecognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor/podiatrist for managementdeliver education on diabetic foot care to patients and/or caregiversprovide clear documentation on the results of the diabetic foot screeningadhere to legal, ethical, professional, departmental and organisational policies such as good infection control practices.take part in activities that promote awareness of Podiatry

Requirements

• Higher Nitec with GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level Credits in English, Mathematics and Science
• WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services will be an advantage5.5 days workweek.
• Willing to travel to different polyclinics and work on Saturdays
• Service orientated with good listening and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and another language (Chinese, Malay, or Tamil). Ability to lift reasonable loads
• Good time management
• Able to work well both independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
