Credit Controller

Credit ControllerA leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its Finance team in Dubai (DIFC). This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving cash collections and reducing aged debt within a top-tier legal services business.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding fees against targets
• Monitoring aged debt and proactively chasing outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Building strong relationships with Partners and Practice Group Heads to review debt positions and reduce debtor days
• Resolving billing queries and disputes by working closely with fee earners and billing teams
• Setting up and managing payment plans, maintaining accurate records within the practice management system
• Supporting cash forecasting, month-end processes, and annual audits

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years' experience in credit control or credit management, ideally within legal or professional services
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and credit control best practices
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels
• Proactive, resilient, and commercially aware, with strong organisational skills
• Collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
