Location: Gainesville, Florida

Base Salary: $125K – $185K+ DOE

We are actively seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers for a growing commercial construction contractor with a strong backlog throughout North and Central Florida. This role is ideal for construction professionals who thrive in ground-up commercial construction and want long-term growth with a company focused on quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects valued at $20M+ and a background in Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, or large-scale commercial construction.

This position is open to both local candidates and traveling professionals willing to work within a 1.5-hour travel radius or greater.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Owners, Architects, and Engineers to ensure successful project execution
• Lead project meetings and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and overall project performance
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Experience managing ground-up projects valued at $20M+
• Strong background in Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, or large-scale commercial projects preferred
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project schedules
• Strong knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software platforms
• Willingness to travel within a 1.5-hour radius or greater as project needs require

Preferred Experience

• AHCA healthcare project experience
• Design-Build experience
• Large campus or institutional construction experience
• OSHA 30 Certification
