Regent at Burnsville is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers who hold a CNA, HHA, or PCA certification to enhance our team. Key Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Regent at Burnsville, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized support to residents with personal care needs, including bathing, showering, grooming, and medication administration.
• Assisting residents in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to enhance their independence and dignity.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, weight, and respiration, as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Documenting care provided and any observed changes in residents’ physical or emotional states in our computerized charting system.
• Conducting light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and welcoming living environment.
• Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and other health professionals to implement individualized care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily care for older adults who may have varying levels of physical and cognitive ability. Understanding their unique needs, preferences, and desires is essential for providing holistic and person-centered care. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving their quality of life and fostering a warm, supportive environment where they feel valued and respected.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Valid CNA, HHA, or PCA certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Experience

While prior caregiving experience is required, candidates with experience in assisted living or long-term care settings will find themselves well-prepared for this role. Adaptability to meet the changing dynamics of resident needs is highly valued, as is a passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.

Compensation and Benefits
