Key Responsibilities

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance, adjusting support as needed
• Aid students during classroom routines, daily transitions, and participation
• Follow individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans
• Supervise, promote mobility, and support personal care needs when necessary
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and secure learning setting

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Able to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• TB test as required by the district
• Current or obtainable clearances in accordance with school compliance

Preferred Experience

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• PEL License is a plus
• Comfortable supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials welcomed (not mandatory)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative nature

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
