SUMMARY
A Johannesburg-based company providing comprehensive industrial water treatment, including chemicals, equipment, and services for boiler systems, cooling towers, and chillers is in need of a Sales and Service Representative with a minimum of 2 years maintenance and sales experience within the water treatment industry.
POSITION INFO
- What you'll be doing Visiting existing/ new customer sites.
- Conduct on-site service which includes: Checking dosing, pH and conductivity equipment operation and condition Minor repairs / replacement to on-site equipment including tubing, filters etc.
- Checking chemical stock tank levels and chemical requirements Dosing chemicals to chemical stock tanks/ systems directly.
- Check systems (Open and closed cooling towers, closed loops, condensers, boilers, softeners, R.O systems etc.) operation and condition Collecting samples for analysis at in-house lab Delivering samples to in-house and external labs Writing reports which includes interpreting results, writing comments and recommendations Quotations - planning/calculating, writing, sending, following up Ensuring all paperwork is ready/ complete and up to date per site - invoices, job cards, reports etc.
- Assisting equipment department on ad hoc basis Collaborating with team in different areas of the company - admin, lab, equipment, management etc.
- What you'll need Afrikaans and English Speaker (Bilingual) Valid driver's license and own transport Good time management is a must to ensure services, quotations and reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Good communication skills both internally to team as well as professional communication with customers and potential customers.
- Intermediate/ good computer skills
- Microsoft Office - training will be provided for any "out of the ordinary" software.
- Must be in good health- must meet medical fitness requirements for site access What is in it for you?
