Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• (IT Help Desk Analyst
• Radiology Services)
• Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal users across clinical, administrative, and operational teams, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and user access issues across desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral devices.
• Support and maintain business-critical applications, including radiology and healthcare-related systems, investigating application errors and coordinating resolutions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Log, prioritise, track, and document incidents and requests through the service management system, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist with user account administration, including onboarding, offboarding, password management, and access provisioning in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software deployments, device configuration, and updates to ensure a stable and secure IT environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to support efficient issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Participate in an on-call roster to provide after-hours support for critical systems and business operations, responding to urgent incidents as required.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or formal qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (essential).
• Demonstrated experience in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues relating to software applications, including liaising with vendors and end users to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint support.
• Previous experience working within a healthcare environment (particularly radiology, diagnostic imaging, or medical services) will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and participate in an on-call support roster.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and commitment to maintaining security, privacy, and compliance standards.
