Role Description The Shift Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam. This position oversees daily operations during assigned shifts, ensures smooth execution of workflows, and supports team members in meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards. The Shift Supervisor will coordinate staffing, assign tasks, monitor performance, and respond to operational issues in real time.

They will provide coaching and feedback, help train new team members, and ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed. The role also includes maintaining accurate shift reports, communicating handovers clearly, and collaborating with management to improve processes and customer or client experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in operations, hospitality, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities during a shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, management, and customers or clients as needed.
• Comfort with basic computer applications and reporting tools; ability to learn company-specific systems quickly.
• Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout each shift.
• Ability to work on-site in Visakhapatnam and be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in management or operations is an advantage.
