The role ensures system integrity, maximum availability, and optimal performance of information systems in line with customer expectations. The focus is on infrastructure support, maintenance, inspections, IoT devices, and OT environments, with safety as a top priority.

Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain network, server, and end-user infrastructure, including troubleshooting, account maintenance, and user training.
- Maintain, optimize, and support infrastructure hardware, software, applications, and OT devices.
- Perform industry-standard testing to diagnose and resolve system and network faults.
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues effectively.
- Provide clear explanations of technical solutions to non-technical users.
- Gain in-depth knowledge to monitor and diagnose issues within assigned technical areas.
- Ensure timely ticket resolution with accurate documentation and feedback.
- Identify high-risk areas in the IM environment and propose mitigation solutions.
- Process & Compliance
- Adhere to SOPs, technical documentation, architectural standards, and quality guidelines.
- Comply with HCL SLA requirements and internal/external policies.
- Ensure compliance with Anglo American Health & Safety (H&S) requirements.
- Maintain accurate and reliable reporting to the Team Lead and Site Supervisor.

- Verify and validate financial-related inputs such as overtime, standby, PPE, and claims before submission for approval.

- Operating Technology (OT)
- Strong server, network, and wireless skills
- Citrix support
- Experience with printers, EUC devices, Rajant Network, TnA systems, security systems
- Wireless networks, OT devices, and mining environments
- Technical Certifications (Preferred / Required)
- MCSE / MCSACCNA / CCNA Wireless
- VMware
- Cisco Certifications
- A+ / N+Dell / HP Hardware Certifications
- Optic Fibre Knowledge
- OTDR Testing (Advantage)
- RCNA (Recommended)
- Tool Sets (Recommended)
- Qualifications & Experience
- Education
- Completed Grade 12Undergraduate or Postgraduate IT Qualification (Advantageous)
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience
- Proven experience in network, server, EUC, OT, and security systems
- Experience leading or supporting technical teams (advantageous)
