About the Remote Faculty MBA Supervision role
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise MBA students in their research projects, dissertations, and case studies, providing academic guidance, methodological support, and constructive feedback.
Deliver advanced lectures, workshops, and seminars at postgraduate level, ensuring students develop critical thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
Design, review, and enhance MBA curricula, syllabi, and assessments to align with program objectives and global business practices.
Provide academic mentorship and counselling, supporting students in their professional development and research pursuits.
Incorporate innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and research-driven approaches to enhance student learning outcomes.
Evaluate student progress through dissertation reviews, assessments, and viva examinations, offering clear and developmental feedback.
Contribute to the continual improvement of MBA programs by collaborating with academic staff and aligning with international standards.
Facilitate industry connections to enrich the MBA experience through guest lectures, live projects, and applied research opportunities.
Engage in scholarly research, case writing, or publications relevant to business and management, contributing to the academic profile of the institution.
Participate in institutional activities such as academic panels, open days, and program development initiatives.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Expertise in business and management disciplines, with a strong focus on postgraduate-level supervision and research mentoring.
In-depth understanding of MBA pedagogy, curriculum design, and applied research methodologies.
Ability to critically assess and improve teaching delivery, supervision processes, and student learning outcomes.
Strong mentoring, leadership, and communication skills, fostering a productive and professional learning environment.
Capacity to build academic-industry linkages and act as an ambassador for the institution.
Doctoral qualification in Business/Management or related discipline (preferred) with proven academic or professional experience in postgraduate teaching and supervision.
Demonstrated experience in supervising dissertations, research projects, or case studies at the master’s level.
Knowledge of current teaching, learning, and research strategies in higher education.
A teaching qualification is desirable.
