Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for an Admission Advisor & Sr. Counselor – Study Abroad. The role involves counseling prospective students and their families on overseas education options, admission requirements, and suitable countries, universities, and programs based on academic profiles and career goals.

The Admission Advisor & Sr. Counselor will manage the complete admission lifecycle, including application preparation, documentation review, coordination with universities, and support with visa processes in collaboration with internal teams.

The position requires conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, participating in seminars and events, and contributing to student recruitment targets through timely follow-ups and relationship building. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in internal systems, staying updated on international education trends, and mentoring junior team members where required.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to guide students and families clearly, empathetically, and professionally.
• Proven experience in Student Recruiting and Sales, with the ability to meet counseling and enrollment targets in a structured environment.
• Ability to deliver Training and informational sessions for students, parents, and internal teams on study abroad pathways and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international relations is an advantage.
• Prior experience in overseas education consulting, university admissions, or career counseling is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and application handling.
• Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office, and online platforms for counseling, tracking, and reporting.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and occasionally during extended hours or weekends during peak admission seasons.
