Role Description

The Admission & Academic Relationship Counsellor will be responsible for interacting with UPSC aspirants, understanding their preparation needs, guiding them regarding suitable courses and mentorship programs, and supporting them throughout the admission process. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, relationship-building ability, and a good understanding of the UPSC examination ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counselling & Guidance
• Guide UPSC aspirants regarding courses, mentorship programs, test series, and preparation strategies.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds and preparation levels to recommend suitable programs.
• Address student queries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Help aspirants make informed decisions regarding their UPSC preparation journey.
• Admissions Handle admission-related enquiries and support students throughout the enrollment process.
• Follow up with prospective candidates and convert leads into enrollments.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data.
• Assist students in completing registration and payment formalities.
• Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and aspirants.
• Ensure a positive student experience through timely communication and support.
• Resolve basic student concerns and coordinate with relevant teams when required.
• Act as a bridge between students and academic teams.
• Academic Coordination
• Coordinate with mentors, faculty, and academic teams for seamless student support.
• Assist in communicating program updates, schedules, and important announcements.
• Collect and share student feedback for continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain daily records of counselling activities and follow-ups.
• Prepare reports related to leads, conversions, student engagement, and admissions.
• Update CRM and internal systems regularly.

Requirements

• Mandatory
• Strong understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination and its preparation process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to engage with students in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.

Preferred

Prior experience in counselling, admissions, mentoring, customer relationship management, or the education sector.UPSC aspirants, former aspirants, or candidates with exposure to competitive examination preparation.

Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and online communication platforms.

Ability to handle multiple student interactions simultaneously.
