Head – Commercial Excellence & Revenue StrategyLocation: MumbaiWe are looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive revenue growth, pricing strategy, business planning, analytics, and commercial governance for a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain sector.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior leadership to establish data-driven decision-making frameworks, optimize revenue performance, improve profitability, and strengthen commercial effectiveness across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Planning & Business Strategy
• Drive annual business planning and translate organizational objectives into actionable commercial plans.
• Support forecasting, target setting, and performance management across business segments.
• Develop growth strategies for key customer segments, products, and markets.
• Partner with leadership teams to identify opportunities for revenue acceleration and margin improvement.
• Revenue Management & Pricing
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Establish governance frameworks around pricing, discount management, and commercial approvals.
• Drive yield optimization initiatives through customer, product, and segment-level analysis.
• Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing effectiveness.
• Analytics & Business Insights
• Lead commercial analytics across revenue, volume, customer performance, margins, and profitability.
• Build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and management reviews to support decision-making.
• Identify business risks and growth opportunities through advanced data analysis.
• Drive adoption of analytics-led planning and performance management practices.
• Commercial Governance & Revenue Assurance
• Strengthen controls around revenue realization, pricing compliance, and profitability management.
• Identify and mitigate revenue leakage risks.
• Monitor commercial performance and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Support business reviews and executive-level performance reporting.
• Sales Effectiveness & Transformation
• Improve sales planning processes, productivity frameworks, and performance measurement systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support CRM, reporting, and process improvement programs to enhance commercial effectiveness.
• Standardize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Leadership teams.
• Influence strategic decision-making through data-backed recommendations.
• Build scalable processes and support future team expansion as the function grows.

Candidate Profile

8–15 years of experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Excellence, Pricing, Business Planning, Analytics, Strategy, or related functions.

Strong experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Express Distribution, Transportation, E-commerce Logistics, or related sectors.

Proven expertise in pricing strategy, revenue optimization, forecasting, and commercial analytics.

Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Experience working with large datasets, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
