Senior Business Development Manager – Stock Broking & Financial Services

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi for a Senior Business Development Manager – Stock Broking & Financial Services. The role involves identifying and acquiring new clients for stock broking, commodities, and related financial products, while strengthening relationships with existing clients to deepen wallet share.

The Senior Business Development Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, conduct client meetings and presentations, and promote the company’s investment solutions and services. Responsibilities include monitoring market trends, coordinating with internal teams for seamless client onboarding and service delivery, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

The role also requires tracking sales performance, preparing regular business reports, mentoring junior team members, and actively contributing to revenue growth targets.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Stock Control and Stock Management, with the ability to track and manage stock-related operations within financial products and services.
• Proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to oversee related back-office processes, reconciliations, and resource allocation.
• Excellent Customer Service capabilities, including handling queries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Proven experience in business development or sales in stock broking, commodities, or broader financial services, with a track record of achieving targets.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, equity and commodity products, regulatory norms, and investment advisory practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse client segments professionally.
• Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple priorities, and lead or mentor junior team members as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in securities or financial markets are an advantage.
