We’re seeking a creative, resourceful, and relentless RFP Researcher & Write to help us grow our footprint across Michigan and beyond.
Position Overview
This is not just a writing role — it’s an opportunity to hunt, shape, and win business. You’ll research opportunities, develop compelling proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and play a crucial role in how Quantam communicates its value to clients and decision-makers.

What You’ll Do
- Research & Prospecting
- Proactively research and identify relevant government and private sector RFPs using online portals and bid systems
- Monitor bid opportunities across local, state, and federal levels
- Evaluate RFP requirements to determine alignment with Quantam’s capabilities
- Proposal Development
- Write, edit, and manage responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and related requests
- Develop original content tailored to client needs, scopes of work, and evaluation criteria
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical input and shape a winning narrative
- Writing & Communication
- Translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and persuasive language
- Maintain and update reusable proposal content, company bios, capability statements, and project case studies
- Proofread all written content for accuracy, clarity, and voice consistency
- Collaboration & Organization
- Coordinate timelines and submission deadlines with multiple stakeholders
- Assist with organizing proposal archives, templates, and data for efficient response development
- Support related business development efforts, including presentations, pitch decks, and marketing assets
Who You Are

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Ability to work hybrid in the metro Detroit area, when needed.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and a resident of Michigan

- Prior experience writing proposals or grants
- Familiarity with government procurement processes or bid portals (e.g., SAM.gov, Michigan SIGMA, etc.)
