Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field Minimum of 2 years professional experience with design and development of software using Java, C++ or Python Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

The WorkLockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software engineer.

In this role, you will contribute to the systems and software design of complex combat management capability threads as part of the Future Combat Systems team. You will learn to use a model-based systems engineering approach supporting requirements, performance, and functional allocation of software components.

You will also be working on the design, development, and test of containerized software applications in a microservice based architecture. The software engineer will help to test the software in a Kubernetes environment.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in developing software using Java, C++, and/or Python.
