About Sumiden Wire Products Corporation
Sumiden Wire Products Corporation (SWPC) uses its high‑quality steel products to help build America. First founded in Stockton, SWPC has been producing and providing 7‑wire Prestressed Concrete (PC) strand since 1979. Our PC strand has been used to fortify thousands of construction projects, such as bridges, buildings, parking structures, and housing foundations.
Additionally, we have two sister plants in Tennessee and Texas, both producing their own specialty wire. Here at SWPC, we rest our pride on our superior quality steel strand, and we are looking for individuals who are seeking that level of accomplishment in their careers.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to support the verification and integrity of our PC strand products. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing product quality using standard precision measurement tools, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure all dimensional requirements meet specification.
You will serve as the primary operator of the tensile testing machine, performing mechanical evaluations critical to product performance. Working closely with Engineering, you will analyze test results to assess product quality and compliance. This position plays a vital role in determining whether our PC strand meets the rigorous standards required for shipment and use in critical American infrastructure projects.
