Manual Software Tester (Hybrid)

As part of our Quality Control Group, the Software Tester provides user support and manual testing of the company’s proprietary applications. This includes the development and execution of test cases, identifying and documenting data sets and reporting results to project leadership.

What you'll be doing...The primary functions of the Software Tester involve writing test plans, processing batch reports, developing, documenting, and running test scenarios on our proprietary software applications, and general processes. The Software Tester will also develop testing software, develop and maintain testing processes and standards.

• Analyzes user requirements and writes test cases for Windows and web-based applications
• Identifies, reproduces, and documents bugs uncovered during testing
• Writes and updates existing test cases and automated testing tools
• Develops and maintains testing process standards
• Drafts user guide documentation for new applications
• Works closely with the Business Analysts to define test scenarios
• Aids team by setting testing estimates and creating thorough test plans
• Works closely with the manager to evaluate testing needs and testing priority
• NOTE: This is a 100% manual testing environment and does not involve automated testing.
• A hybrid schedule with 3 days per week (Tue, Wed & Thu) on-site in the Seattle office is available.
• Who you are...Educated.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
• Experienced. 3+ years manual testing experience on websites and mobile applications
• Technically Savvy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic SQL functions
• Organized.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
• Communicator.
• Excellent verbal, written and professional interpersonal skills
• Team Player.
• The willingness and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Adaptable.
• Flexible and performs well with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

• If hired, you can expect...Hourly rate range of $27.64 - $37.40 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications)
