Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the Residential EV Charging initiative. The initiative's objective is to facilitate home charging for income-qualified customers using incentives for panel upgrades and circuit extensions.

Furthermore, it provides pathways for home EV charging installation without electrical upgrades. The program connects customers to qualified partners, offering rebates to reduce customer costs upon installation. The successful candidate will integrate PG&E’s residential electrification customer experience objectives into program design and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of program development and execution, including workflows, timelines, budget management, and metric tracking
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage contracts to meet objectives and budget constraints
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting with relevant authorities
• Develop processes to enhance customer experience

The candidate should have a robust background in program and project management within regulated environments, solve problems effectively, and communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.

This role demands addressing barriers to EV adoption, fostering collaboration, and employing data-driven methods for program development. Experience in transportation electrification, electric vehicles, and EVSE installation is highly preferred.

This position is a hybrid role, involving both remote work and assignments based on business needs within the service territory.

Salary will be influenced by various factors including skills, experience, and location. Candidates can participate in discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Salary Range

• Minimum: $144,000.00
• Maximum: $244,000.00

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced Program Management skills for operating the Residential EV Charging program
• Demonstrate strategic leadership for cross-functional initiatives
• Map out and streamline the residential electrification process
• Collaborate with team members to achieve program and equity objectives
• Manage relationships with external parties and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
• Work with Regulatory and Compliance staff to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Oversee program data and extract lessons for stakeholders
• Represent the company at local events, industry panels, and trade shows
• Possible travel involvement

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 10 years of related work experience

• Advanced knowledge in Program Management
• Experience in product management and developing customer-facing tools
• Interest and ability to learn in Transportation Electrification
• Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement expertise
• Knowledge in rebate and incentive program management
