The Opportunity

Some projects are just buildings. Others shape the next generation. Our client is one of Northern California's most established general contractors — a firm with a proven track record, a reputation built over decades, and a growing portfolio of K-12 education projects across Northern California.

They're now looking for a Project Manager ready to take ownership, deliver with consistency, and make a lasting impact on the communities they build for.

If you've been building schools and educational facilities and know what it takes to navigate the unique demands of K-12 construction, this is your next move.

What You'll Do

• You'll manage K-12 construction projects end-to-end — from pre-construction planning through final closeout — keeping budgets tight, schedules moving, and stakeholders informed at every stage.
• You'll coordinate subcontractors, liaise with school district representatives, and ensure every project meets the compliance and safety standards that come with building in active educational environments.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or education construction
• Hands-on K-12 or public sector project experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with DSA (Division of the State Architect) processes and requirements
• Confidence managing subcontractor relationships and owner communications simultaneously
• A methodical, accountable approach to schedule and budget management

Compensation

$130,000 – $170,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and more.
