Shipping & Receiving / Traffic Assistant

CR Express Forwarding, Inc. – Laredo, TX

Seeking a bilingual, organized and professional with experience in traffic, shipping & receiving, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or distribution center operations.

The ideal candidate will assist with inventory control, shipment tracking, customer communication, operational documentation, and warehouse coordination.

Schedule Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

✔ Shipping & receiving documentation ✔ Verify incoming and outgoing merchandise against paperwork ✔ Assist with shipment tracking and traffic coordination ✔ Email communication with customers, carriers, and warehouse personnel ✔ Inventory updates and data entry ✔ Maintain shipment and warehouse records ✔ General office and logistics support

Requirements

✔ Experience in Shipping & Receiving, Traffic, Logistics, Customs Brokerage, or Freight Forwarding ✔ Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office) ✔ Bilingual English / Spanish ✔ Ability to review merchandise and verify counts, labels, and shipping documents ✔ Organized and detail-oriented ✔ Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Preferred Experience

✔ Traffic Assistant

✔ Shipping & Receiving Clerk

✔ Warehouse Assistant

✔ Forklift operation

✔ Warehouse inventory control

✔ Distribution center experience

✔ Shipping & Receiving operations

✔ Experience with SLAM or similar logistics software

✔ Freight Forwarding or Customs Brokerage experience

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and position responsibilities.
