Cargo Operations Specialist

Join the Army National Guard as a vital part of our logistical operations. As a Cargo Operations Specialist, you will ensure that our troops receive essential supplies, equipment, and communication materials, enabling them to effectively serve the community and country.

Your responsibilities will include managing the safe transfer of cargo and passengers across various modes of transportation, including land, air, and sea.

In this role, you will

• Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo at watercraft, docks, railheads, and more.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Plan and organize loading schedules to optimize shipments.
• Inspect cargo for any damage and maintain accurate documentation.

Earn while you learn! You will receive a regular paycheck during your training, which includes 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), combining both classroom instruction and field experience.
