Responsibilities of Warehouse Logistics Coordinator
- Double-check the accuracy of the numbers and letters match
- Carefully stage and categorize products to optimize the loading sequence
- Performs the tasks related to trailer loading and unloading
- Executes the beginning and ending of dock door access
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean and secure work environment to support health and safety practices
- Sorts and positions parts in racks or specific sections
- Implementing the manual dock chain
- Creates a layered formation using cardboard boxes and pallets
- Reallocate materials within the storage facility
- Ensures compliance with safety standards
- Using techniques like shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling to package finished items for shipping purposes
- Employ electronic scanning procedures facilitated by a warehouse management program
- Quality control
- Promptly recognizing and discarding damaged items upon arrival is crucial
- Complete daily logs
- Build rapport with coworkers from varying shifts
- Attach tags to containers or brand them with recognizable information
- Scrutinizing job requests or listening to verbal guidance to identify work assignments and necessary resources
- Keep a detailed record of the exceptional quantities of units processed and transported by utilizing daily production forms or job tickets
- Assemble product containers and crates by manipulating manual tools and pre-shaped lumber
- Organize merchandise in packaging and swap out any containers that have been compromised
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved,gathered, or distributed
- Processes and dispatches items to production workers or assembly line personnel as requested in requisitions, work orders, or material requests
- Combines customer requests from the stock and situates them on pallets or shelves, before conveying them to the packing or shipping department
- Adhering to company protocols, items are accurately weighed or tallied for distribution within the facility
- Documents entries utilizing a computer device
- Sets up shipments for sending
- Maintains inventory records
- Perform duties using forklifts, pallet jacks, and a range of warehouse mechanical devices as required
- Drive forklifts or pallet jacks to move stored goods from the warehouse to the production facility or retrieve items from several locations for shipping if applicable
- Any other projects and duties as delegated by the supervisor
Qualifications of Warehouse Logistics Coordinator
- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
- Flexible to work overtime preferred
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

- Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
