Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
• Follow planned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering freight promptly and professionally at each destination.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE min including route driving and delivery operations.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on commercial driving standards and regulations.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of Over The Road Trucking .
