Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Driver Recruiter role based in Laredo, TX. The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified truck drivers to join the company. Daily responsibilities include sourcing candidates, managing communication with potential hires, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and implementing effective strategies to retain drivers.

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to meet staffing needs while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance guidelines related to driver recruitment and employment
• Proficiency in recruiting and hiring processes, with a strong focus on building and maintaining a robust driver network
• Experience in driver retention strategies and a proactive approach to maintaining a satisfied driver workforce
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a seamless and positive experience for potential hires
• Organizational and time management skills to meet recruitment deadlines
• Previous experience in driver recruitment or transportation industry is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
