ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide warm professional assistance to employees regarding policies, benefits, leaves, training, UKG access and other requests
- Assist in recruiting including opening and closing open roles
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure seamless integration into the company culture and policies
- Facilitate training & development initiatives to promote continuous growth
- Track training through UKG
- Benefit administration including enrollments, qualifying events, employee inquiries
- Leave administration including tracking PFL, FMLA, disability, worker's compensation and Personal Leave of Absence in UKG
- Ensure required benefits and leave documentation is on file
- Oversee the Scholarship Program
- Handle employee events and recognition programs including Employee of the Quarter
- Assist with compliance with employment & labor laws, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning requirements across all HR functions
- Assist in handling employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Utilize HRIS systems like UKG for data collection and reporting
- Perform administrative tasks
- Maintain employee records
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Interface professionally with colleagues and Club visitors
- Maintain low level of noise while working in a shared space
- Must have flexible availability during weekends, evenings, early mornings and holidays
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of UKG is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple HR initiatives simultaneously
- This position requires to be highly focused, organized and consistent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software including Canva to create paperless forms, surveys, announcements
- Familiarity with HR sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems such as UKG.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation procedures, and OSHA standards
- Strong written, verbal communication and listening skills
- Strong command of software applications
- Ability to move throughout business including standing, walking, bending, kneeling for extended periods of time
- Ability to move objects by lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 30 lbs
EDUCATION
College degree is preferred
Pay: $33.00 per hour
