Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and improve business performance.
- Handle audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Manager should have
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of PQE (Mandatory)
- Experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the food sector, is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
