Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual HR Generalist to join our client's team. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and will play a key part in supporting our Human Resources department, focusing primarily on recruiting and payroll administration.
The ideal candidate will be organized, people-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Communicate effectively with English and Spanish-speaking applicants and employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely completion of new hire paperwork
- Coordinate and process bi-weekly or weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Assist with employee relations and respond to general HR inquiries
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance reporting
- Translate HR documents and communications as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HR, preferably in recruiting and/or payroll
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/payroll software
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and HR and Payroll experience.
