Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist
Our client, a leading plaintiff-side law firm, is seeking a Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist to join its HR team. This role offers a blend of full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, event planning, and HR project work, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both talent acquisition and broader HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage attorney and staff recruiting pipelines, including applicant tracking and interview coordination.
- Build relationships with recruiters, law schools, and candidate networks.
- Conduct candidate outreach and screening interviews and support hiring decisions.
- Draft and manage offer letters and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
- Maintain job descriptions and post openings across recruiting platforms.
- Organize recruiting events, summer associate programs, wellness initiatives, and firm-sponsored events.
- Partner with marketing on recruitment branding materials and new hire communications.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and contribute to HR reporting and budgeting.
- Support firmwide HR initiatives and continuously enhance the employee experience.
- Utilize AI and technology tools to improve recruiting efficiency and hiring outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ATS and HRIS experience preferred.
- Event planning experience is a plus.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
Work Environment
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- Location: Midtown NYC.
- Salary Range: $100,000–$115,000.
