POSTION DESCRIPTION
The Register-Recorder/County Clerk's (RR/CC) Human Resources Division is seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated individual to fill one (1) Management Analyst vacancy in their Disability Management & Compliance Section. The position will report to and receive technical and administrative direction from an Administrative Services Manager I (ASM I).

This transfer opportunity is located at the Register-Recorder/County Clerk located at:
12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk CA 90650
The section offers a hybrid work arrangement (office and telework) with the option of a 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.
Duties include, but are not limited
- Researches information by identifying, locating and extracting relevant data and information from varied sources (e.g., by reading, collecting, downloading, interviewing) to obtain sufficient, valid and reliable information for analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Compiles information by grouping and categorizing data (e.g., in tables, spreadsheets, data files) in meaningful ways to facilitate analysis.
- Analyzes information using qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to identify issues, draw fact-based conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions, often requiring additional research and study.
- Develops and recommends the policies, programs, or procedures to address problems or improve operations by applying the results of research and analysis to achieve the highest likelihood of success.
- Prepares a variety of documents (e.g., reports, business correspondence, memoranda), by adapting formats to meet the intended purpose and using relevant software programs (e.g., word processing, desktop publishing, presentation) to effectively communicate information to departmental personnel, members of the public, governing boards.
- Interacts with a variety of individuals (e.g., vendors, managers, representatives of external agencies/organizations) when participating in meetings, mediating disputes, making presentations, providing advice and consultation services, communicating information, presenting recommendations solutions, gaining agreement and coordinating activities.
- Coordinates activities involving contractors, consultants, outside agencies, to ensure programs are successfully planned, implemented, and evaluated.
- Monitors processes and programs by gathering and analyzing relevant information to ensure that processes are effective, stable, and operating as intended.
- Evaluates program effectiveness by comparing outcomes with established goals to determine whether to continue or be modified.
- Performs various administrative duties (e.g., creating and maintaining files; formatting standard documents; receiving, processing, and routing documents) by applying federal, state laws, county, and local laws, ordinances, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established requirements.
