Job/Department
Working independently under minimal direction of the Senior Director of Early Outreach and Support Programs (EOSP), the incumbent serves as the primary administrative and fiscal analyst for multiple EOSP departments and programs. The position performs complex fiscal, administrative, and operational analysis in support of a diverse portfolio of state, foundation, grant, categorical, and auxiliary funding sources.
Responsibilities include budget administration, financial analysis, expenditure forecasting, variance analysis, fiscal monitoring, payroll administration, procurement support, and compliance oversight.
The incumbent serves as the primary resource and liaison for budget, fiscal, and administrative matters and is responsible for the analysis, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of multiple department budgets and accounts.
The position analyzes financial activity, expenditure trends, funding utilization, and operational impacts; develops budget projections and recommendations; supports resource planning and decision-making; and ensures compliance with university, foundation, grant, and regulatory requirements.
The incumbent exercises a high degree of independent judgment in evaluating fiscal and operational issues, interpreting policies and procedures, identifying risks, and recommending solutions that support departmental effectiveness and fiscal integrity.
In addition, the position provides operational oversight for payroll administration, procurement activities, personnel transactions, office operations, and special projects supporting multiple EOSP programs.
The knowledge, skills and abilities listed above would normally be obtained through a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training.PLUSTwo years of full-time administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs.
$58,020 (Step 1) - $84,528 (Step 20) per year.
