EL PERIODICO USA, a Hispanic media company with a strong presence in Texas and plans for national expansion, is seeking an Administrative / Accounting Assistant to support the company's commercial and administrative operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customer accounts and client records.
- Support and coordinate with the sales team.
- Prepare and send invoices.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable.
- Track advertising contract renewals and expiration dates.
- Coordinate administrative matters with clients and advertisers.
- Prepare sales and collections reports.
- Maintain organized records and contract documentation.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administration, accounting, bookkeeping, or business operations.
- Knowledge of invoicing, collections, and administrative processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Experience in media, publishing, advertising, or marketing is a plus.
