Intern (Project DUO Program)
Position Summary
The Project DUO Intern role gives students the opportunity to work closely with different departments at Gowan and gain real experience in a professional office setting. Interns will help with day-to-day tasks such as scheduling, organizing documents, updating spreadsheets, and supporting team projects.
This internship is designed to help students build practical workplace skills while learning how a global agriculture company operates behind the scenes. Interns will support projects that improve how teams stay organized, communicate, and complete their work.

Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare meeting materials
- Assist with document creation, editing, formatting, and organization
- Perform data entry, filing, and information management tasks
- Support departmental communications and prepare summaries or updates
- Help facilitate onboarding and offboarding steps within designated departmentsProject Support
- Participate in process mapping sessions and documentation of workflows
- Assist in updating department tools, forms, and internal resources
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support projects and team goals
- Help prepare presentations, progress reports, and operational documents
- Support cross-functional project work aimed at improving systems and alignmentCross-Department Collaboration
- Engage with other DUO interns during rotations or shared assignments
- Work with various departments to understand broader Gowan operations
- Coordinate with HR, IT, Finance, and other internal teams for project needsEducation:
- Minimum Education:
- Currently enrolled in University/College.
Preferred Education
- Coursework or experience related to project management, organizational systems, or administrative support.
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
Required

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Working Conditions
- On-site presence at Gowan’s downtown Yuma office or other various Global Locations
- Ability to work 30 hours per week during the internship term (Fall, Spring, or Summer)
- Participation in team meetings and collaborative work sessions
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to assist multiple departments depending on rotational needs
