The Administrative Assistant will provide secretarial and administrative support to leadership and the department, creating a friendly and cooperative impression with internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Prioritizing and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Establishing and maintaining an orderly work environment to support department operations
• Relieving leadership of clerical matters such as mail distribution, reception, and filing
• Preserving the confidential nature of sensitive information
• Attending assigned meetings and taking minutes
• Inputting schedules, maintaining timecards, and approving timecards
• Qualifications:*
• Minimum: Three years of experience working in an office environment performing general clerical duties, including experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs
• Desired:

• Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment

• Medical terminology

• Bachelor's Degree

• Database knowledge

• Data research and report composition

• Internet use

• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:*
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor as a representative of the management team
• Analytical, grammatical, punctuation, spelling, and formatting skills
• Ability to make independent decisions within established guidelines
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Minute-taking and transcription accuracy
• Meeting coordination and scheduling experience

Compensation range

$21.82 - $29.45 per hour, based on applicable experience
