Plant Manager – food productionFresno, CA area$130k-$170kNational food producer needs a Plant Manager for its Fresno-area facility.

Provide overall direction for the plant, including budgeting, production, distribution, warehousing, sanitation, and maintenance functions.

Develop goals for production; monitor the results of cost and quality systems to ensure profit margins.

Apply leadership to develop personnel and systems that will place the manufacturing operation in an industry-leading position in terms of cost and quality.

Provide direction to ensure that comprehensive team member safety programs are aligned with the Company’s goals and values.

Promote team member safety and food safety.

Build management depth for existing business and growth.

Promote an environment and culture of engagement where team members feel respected, valued, and informed.

Communication with numerous corporate departments and external persons such as USDA, industry associations, local government agencies, and selected customers.

Assist in product development, quality assurance, engineering systems, and equipment for profitability and growth of manufacturing division.

Develop new products and processes in conjunction with marketing and USDA compliance with SSOP and HACCP programs. 10+ years of progressive responsibility in management within the food processing industry, preferably in the poultry business.

Demonstrated budgeting, staffing, and cost analysis experience.

Demonstrated leadership skills and drive.
