Under direction of the Director of Operations and in accordance with company policies and practices and operating schedules, directs, supervises, and coordinates operations activities on shift. Directs and evaluates Operations Department personnel, resolves mechanical problems, implements & monitors Preventative Maintenance Programs, and ensures that mechanical repairs are completed on a priority basis.
Provides leadership and coaching in Operations Department and has the responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Manages this area of responsibility with the customers’ needs at the center of all planning and decision-making. Responsible for identifying and correcting hazards in area of responsibility. Responsible for enforcing and complying with all safety and company policies and practices.
Accountable for team members training new employees on the associated shift.
Safety, Housekeeping & Teamwork
Knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment. Computer proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel. Experience with ERP systems, CMMS, and production management systems.
Safety, Tool Room, Technical Service, Shipping, Receiving, Planning, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Quality Control.
Operations team on assigned shift including material handlers, operators, operating mechanics, tool and die team, maintenance, and electricians.

Job requires sitting, standing, and walking. Job occasionally may require climbing, bending, reaching overhead, squatting, and awkward positioning. Infrequently lifting and push/pull may exceed 50 pounds.
