Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is a key leader responsible for overseeing daily production operations, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across the manufacturing floor. This role combines people leadership, process improvement, and production management to drive safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance.
This is not a desk-only management position. We're looking for a visible, hands-on leader who enjoys being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and helping teams achieve their full potential.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop Production Technicians and team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, work assignments, training, and employee performance to support operational objectives.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and employee relations activities, including performance management and corrective action when necessary.
- Review production documentation and batch records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Maintain an active floor presence to troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support site initiatives, process improvements, and business growth objectives.
- Ensure accurate ERP transactions and documentation while supporting employee training on system processes.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics, budgets, and resources to achieve operational goals.
- Serve as a resource for production processes, equipment, serialization, and aggregation activities.
- Communicate effectively across shifts and departments to ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful execution of priorities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, cGMP, ISO, or a regulated production environment.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems in a regulated environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities.
- Comfortable working in a production, warehouse, and office environment.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work safely around manufacturing equipment.
