Position Summary
We are looking for a Full Time Production Supervisor to support our client’s Audubon facility. You will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in leading the Production Team. Essential Duties
- Supervise and support a team of assembly workers with and without disabilities.
- Establish daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity for a multiunit production line
- Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Perform verification of production output according to specifications
- Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to Warehouse Manager
- Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
- Assist in production line duties as needed
- Identify and act on continuous improvement opportunities
- Scheduling employees by job function
- Qualifications & skills High School diploma/GED required2+ years' work experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes
- Ability to work with individuals with Special Needs
- Profound experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
