Overview The Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing the quality function to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company specifications for manufacturing products.
Responsibilities Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
Support corporate and plant quality systems and procedures
Review and respond to customer complaints as well as issue corrective action measures to prevent reoccurrence
Interact with customers and customer service representatives to foster strong customer relationships
Maintain all records related to quality standards and performance
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required
5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
2 years of management experience
Experience working with a quality management system
Strong interpersonal communication skills
