The Office of Revenue Management & Development (ORMD) maximizes federal and state funding of HRA costs through the activities of developing revenue-enhancing initiatives and carrying out revenue-generating projects, savings millions of City tax levy dollars.
The Division of Process Enhancement and Automation Division is comprised of three Divisions in the ongoing development and enhancement of complex systems and applications, integrated across a multiplatform environment to provide users with uniform, accurate, and sound data.
The Division ensures the analysis and development of user-friendly, well documented integrated systems, which include contingency planning and troubleshooting functions to maintain critical applications uninterrupted.
This involves development of both short-and-long term plans to employ cutting edge software and hardware technologies to enhance existing automated systems and introduce increasingly productive systems that will increase efficiency, ensure system security, reduce error, generate cost savings, and improve service to users and the public.
The Finance office is recruiting for one (1) Computer Associate (Software) III to function as a Quality Controller within Strategic Enterprise and Development (SEAD) who will:
Coordinate implementation of Agency employment programs with Agency business areas and ITS for the programming of the Payment and Claiming System (PaCS).
Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business needs, user stories, and functional requirements.
Analyzing existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
Coding of SQL stored procedures and designing of SQL Server databases with necessary constraints.
Utilizing tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) to analyze data, identify trends, and create reports to support decision-making.
Assisting with project planning, monitoring, and quality assurance (User Acceptance Testing).
Develop advanced Microsoft Reporting Services and PowerBI dashboard and enterprise reports.
Design functional application requirements into technical designs to be developed.
Creation of wireframe designs for development.
Implement web and reporting application projects. Developing .NET or object-oriented Java systems.
Create methodologies, perform validation and comparisons of data sets to test data quality.
Produce clear, concise documentation, including functional specifications, wireframes, and user manuals
