The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing assigned quality workers. This person will also provide guidance to cross-functional teams to achieve the quality and food safety standards required for the products produced and shipped from the company's location.
Furthermore, the incumbent will enforce the certification, regulatory, customer, and business standards as prescribed by the organization while monitoring the effective implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct, lead, and motivate a group of workers responsible for manufacturing and quality control operations to achieve optimal results by communicating the organization's objectives, which focus on achieving customer satisfaction levels, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, implementing safety procedures, and meeting project deadlines
- Enhance team effectiveness and productivity through targeted training programs that cover relevant skills and knowledge
- The implementation of ongoing progress practices that prioritize customer needs embodies corporate purpose, while also inspiring servant leadership
- To maintain company standards and comply with regulatory requirements, the Consolidated Management System (CMS) program requires management and support. A comprehensive understanding of the documentation, training, and organizational obligations for maintaining a globally recognized quality and food safety certification is also necessary
- In order to properly manage laboratory data, I monitor it for accuracy through the use of exceptional reporting. From there, I analyze the data to identify patterns and negative trends, ultimately making recommendations for process improvement
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and provide input on improving audit processes for future evaluations
- Having extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, coupled with a deep knowledge of the food industry, can provide a competitive edge in business

Minimum Qualifications
- If pursuing a career that requires a higher level of education, possessing an associate's degree or completing up to three years in college or technical school can be beneficial
