Position Overview
Our client, a global innovator in the entertainment and media space, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, owning the full budgeting and forecasting cycle and delivering insights that directly shape how senior leadership makes decisions.
What You'll Do
- Own the full planning cycle: You will drive the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning from start to finish. That means managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, consolidating outputs, and presenting directly to the executive team.
- Be the finance voice in the room: Monthly and quarterly performance reviews are yours to lead. You will dig into the numbers, identify what is driving results, call out risks before they become problems, and come to every conversation with a clear point of view.
- Bring the story to leadership: You will build executive reporting packages and presentations that do more than show the data. They will explain what it means, what comes next, and what leadership should do about it.
- Work on the deals and decisions that matter: Investment cases, business line performance, resource allocation, you will be in the mix on the analysis that actually move the needle.
- Build relationships across the business: This role touches operations, accounting, legal, commercial teams, and talent-facing teams.
- Champion Process Improvement: You will not just run the process, you will improve it. That means finding smarter ways to plan, report, and use data, and partnering with systems teams to build tools that actually scale.
